Beata Ewa Białecka Born in 1966 in Mikołów. Graduate of the Studio Painting Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. MA in Prof. Jerzy Nowosielski’s studio in 1992. Recipient of the gold award Primus Inter Pares of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (1992), nominee for Polityka Passport in the Visual Arts category (2007) and for the Sovereign European Art Prize (2008). Scholarship holder of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (half-year residency, Syke, Germany [1991]), of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (1999), Mayor of Gdańsk (2005, 2018), Marshal of the Pomerania Region (2006, 2008, 2011, 2016, 2018).
